A Christmas Carol Table Centre
Steeped in the deep, glowing colours of a Victorian hearth, the Christmas Carol Table Centre is arranged in a time-worn terracotta pot and lit by a rich red Cornish St. Eval taper — a candle that feels as though it could have illuminated Scrooge’s counting house or warmed Tiny Tim’s table on Christmas Eve.
This design is built entirely from English-grown flowers, foliage, berries, and winter treasures. Glossy holly, scarlet winterberries, and softened pinecones gather among plum-coloured everlasting blooms and golden meadow remnants. Lantern-like physalis add a flicker of Dickensian orange, while threads of evergreen and russet foliage create a warm, enveloping winter palette. It is an arrangement full of abundance and nostalgia — a little feast of the season in botanical form.
Set alone, it becomes an instant festive vignette; placed in pairs or dotted in small clusters along a table or mantel, it creates a rhythm of colour and candlelight that feels wonderfully storybook — as though each flickering taper might begin narrating a tale of its own.
Each pot is lined with eco cellophane to keep it watertight. Rest on a saucer, refresh with water regularly, and place somewhere cool when not in use to help the arrangement last as long as possible.
If you would like a different candle colour, floral palette, or a grander scale, please do get in touch — we would be delighted to craft a bespoke creation just for you.
