The Saint Nicholas is a winter woodland tale gathered into a circle — a lush, fragrant wreath inspired by the quiet beauty of our local woods and the soft footfall of the season’s patron saint. Built on a mossed ring, each wreath is composed of foliage foraged from the hedgerows, thickets, and field edges that weave around the farm. Bracken, ivy trails, variegated holly, bay, and woodland evergreens come together in a harmonious, richly layered composition. When the landscape grows sparse, we turn to our trusted friends nearby and in Cornwall for additional winter greens, ensuring every element remains truly local, truly seasonal.
The arrangement is generous yet harmonious — a tapestry of deep forest greens, pale winter variegation, glossy leaves, and fine, textural sprigs. Hung on a wooden door, it feels as though it could have been carried from an old woodland chapel, its scent stirring with rosemary, pine, and crisp winter air. A hand-tied velvet ribbon bow completes the wreath, offering a quiet nod to tradition while letting the foliage tell the story.
